Muslim Women's Cineforum
We are holding a we20 meeting at the Cineforum on Muslim Women: Visibility and Leadership on 30th March 2009 at the Royal Society of Arts.
Muslim women have an absolutely critical role to play in global leadership and in influencing government policies - now and in the future. Currently, the full spectrum of Muslim women’s voices are not recognised or are simply not even heard in global debates.
This is a potentially perilous oversight – at the Cineforum, we believe that global terrorism is the greatest danger to peace in the world and that the key to stopping terrorism in the name of Islam is to raise the women of Islam!!!
