New Ideas for Africa

In the last 18 months, we’ve all been witnesses to the global economic crisis; indeed some of have been casualties of the meltdown. We believe strongly that in crisis lies opportunity.

And so this month we’ll be exploring the opportunities in the present global economic crisis for Africa and for you.

We know using the word opportunity right next to crisis seems to defy logic but if there is a silver lining in this cloud for Africa, we want to find it together.

As is our usual approach, we will start the evening with a discussion on the theme after which we’ll have the ideas workshop.

We welcome practical initiatives, business ideas and social projects that look to creatively ride the current climate while addressing an issue of need for communities in Africa.

Please extend this invitation to other people in your network who have similar interests, need an idea of how to make the best of the current climate or have something to contribute.
