NHS- Safeguarding our Jobs
I'm calling this meeting to discuss the changing relationship between NHS (the UK National Health Service) commissioners and providers. This may lead to us having to compete with other providers of health services within our local area, which is something we are not used to and may mean future insecurity in our jobs.
I'm setting this up as a speech and language therapist who believes in the NHS but is worried about how our jobs may change over the next few years.
I'm interested in hearing what people think we can do to help us feel like we have some power while these decisions are made above our heads.
